Sunscreen, a hat, and cover shirt to prevent sunburn
River sandals or sneakers for foot protection (required), flip flops don’t cut it
Plenty of water or sport drinks (No glass containers please)
Some snack foods or maybe a picnic lunch
A ziplock or waterproof bag for your precious phone (we sell waterproof phone pouches you can take photos through)
And don’t forget a small trash bag to help keep the river pristine
An eyeglass leash may save those expensive glasses from a watery grave
Don’t forget your fishing pole and fishing license (purchase on line at GoOutdoorsVirginia.com)
Maybe a little duct tape. It won’t fix stupid, but it may muffle the sound.
A towel and change of clothes for the ride home
In fact, don’t take anything you can’t afford to loose or get wet
Finally, leave your keys hanging on our key board at our base
(Of course most of these items are available for sale in our store at highly inflated prices)
